ISN is pleased to announce that Canadian intermediate gold producer Detour Gold Corp. has recently implemented ISNetworld as its contractor information management system. The company owns and operates one of the largest gold-producing mines, with reserves of over 16 million ounces of gold. This implementation is also significant for ISN, as it represents further expansion into Canada’s $57 billion mining industry.

Maximizing HSE Performance
Detour Gold is well-regarded for its long-standing commitment to improving its safety, social, economic and environmental performance. It also supports the communities surrounding its mine by partnering with local Aboriginal Communities. By using ISNetworld, the company will help ensure that Detour Gold’s employees and contractors adhere to the highest standards of safety.

“At Detour Gold, we are committed to ‘Zero Harm,’ making the right choices so everyone goes home safe at the end of every day,” says Trevor Good, Supply Chain Superintendent at Detour Gold. “Our goal is to operate safe workplaces that are incident and injury free; and ISN helps us achieve this goal,” he continues.

Expanding into Canada’s Mining Industry
“The mining industry contributes significantly to Canada’s national and local economies,” says Kim Ritchie, Eastern Canada Director at ISN. “And we’re thrilled to support one of the country’s leading mining companies by helping foster a safety culture that leaves a lasting legacy,” she continues.
