Hiring Clients across multiple industries have asked ISN to help gather evidence that contractors have implemented their health, safety and environmental programs throughout their organization. Introducing RAVS Plus, an onsite assessment of contractors’ written HSE programs, designed to help bridge the gap between the RAVS desktop review and a potential on-site audit or inspection by a Hiring Client.
As contractors gather their documentation, submit it for review and prepare for the in-person interview, the ISN team is available to provide assistance and resources throughout each step. “We are pleased to offer a value-add service like RAVS Plus to our customers,” said Brent Ross, CSP and RAVS Senior Manager at ISN. “Our team of HSE professionals will help facilitate the entire process – from requesting documentation and completing in-person interviews to providing resources and assistance. The collaborative effort encourages continual improvement of HSE best practices, which is one of the main goals of RAVS Plus.”
32 Hiring Clients piloted RAVS Plus in 2015, with 575 contractors included in the RAVS Plus process. The primary benefits for contractor customers are the resources available to them, the ability to differentiate their companies by demonstrating they have implemented their HSE programs and reducing duplicative assessments, as RAVS Plus results are available to all of their ISNetworld Hiring Clients.
