Since 2010, ISN has supported the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Foundation in providing student scholarships to support and advance the safety profession. This year, ISN was proud to sponsor three scholarships to the ASSE’s scholarship fund.
“This scholarship has made an incredible impact on my life, as it helps to alleviate the financial burden of pursuing higher education,” said Sheena Bottorff, ISNetworld scholarship recipient. “ISN is truly a company that commits to the safety of our workforce by investing in the safety advocates of the future.”
Since 1990, the ASSE Foundation has provided more than $1.6 Million in scholarships to more than 500 students majoring in occupational safety and health and the environment. This year alone, the 2016 Scholarship and Grant Program awarded $275,500 to 108 students and safety professionals.
“It is an honor to assist the ASSE Foundation in providing educational and leadership resources for future safety professionals so they can continue to improve workplace safety worldwide,” said Richard Cerenzio, Director at ISN.
