At ISN, we not only prioritize the safety and health of miners but also actively contribute to shaping a culture of safety within the mining community. As a proud supporter of the [Mine Safety and Health Administration’s (MSHA) “Stand Down to Save Lives”](https://www.msha.gov/stand-down-save-lives)initiative, we are dedicated to amplifying these efforts to increase safe work practices across the industry.

**United for a Safer Tomorrow**

The “Stand Down to Save Lives” event that took place on May 22, 2024, marked a significant moment for the mining community to reflect, learn, and commit to the safety and health of every miner. ISN stands with MSHA in this important initiative.

**ISN’s Commitment to Safety**

Our commitment at ISN goes beyond compliance; it’s about caring for the lives of those who work tirelessly beneath the earth and above ground to support our economy. We are committed to:

- **Enhancing Training:** Implementing comprehensive safety training programs that go above and beyond regulatory requirements.
- **Improving Communication:** Fostering an environment where every miner feels empowered to speak up about safety concerns without fear of reprisal.
- **Investing in Technology:** Utilizing cutting-edge technology to monitor and mitigate risks in real-time, ensuring a proactive approach to miner safety.
- **Supporting Health Initiatives:** Promoting health screenings and wellness programs that contribute to the overall well-being of our miners.

**A Day of Action and Reflection**

The “Stand Down to Save Lives” is more than an event; it’s a pledge to continually strive for a zero-harm workplace and engage in:

- **Safety Audits:** Conducting rigorous inspections of all our operations to identify and rectify potential hazards.
- **Educational Workshops:** Hosting workshops that address the latest safety protocols and encourage best practices.
- **Recognition Programs:** Celebrating the contributions of individuals and teams who exemplify our safety values.

**Join Us in Making a Difference**

Let’s stand down to save lives and make a lasting impact on the safety and health of our nation’s miners. Together, we can achieve a future where every miner returns home safely, every day.
