Over the past year, ISN has become increasingly active in the renewable energy sector, implementing its service to a number of prominent companies within the field. Renewables enjoy growing support from both the public and private sectors given the significant benefits to society.
Renewable energy depends on resources that are naturally replenished, such as sunlight, water, wind, biomass and geothermal heat. The most significant benefit to renewable power generation is sustainability. Renewable production leverages a country’s infinite natural resources to create a permanent energy source. This type of energy production is significantly less damaging to the environment while it increases energy security and diversification as well as fosters a host of economic benefits.
ISN’s recent implementations in the sector have included partnerships with Enel Green Power North America, Inc., EDF Renewable Energy and Pattern Energy Group.
Adam Logan, director of ISN’s Energy team, says, “Renewable energy is an important focus globally as well as at ISN. In addition to our partnerships with conventional power generation organizations, ISN is looking to advance our involvement in the renewables industry and learn from our clients along the way. Enel Green Power North America, Inc., EDF Renewable Energy and Pattern Energy Group all represent a focus to 100% renewable energy generation and ISN plans to work with these industry leaders to develop a best-in-class contractor management process for this specific industry.”
