Global Leader in Contractor Management Services Joins National Safety Council SAFER Task Force

DALLAS – June 10, 2020 – ISN, the global leader in contractor management services, today announced it is participating as a lead sponsor on the National Safety Council (NSC) task force to support the SAFER: Safe Actions for Employee Returns initiative – a comprehensive, multifaceted plan developed to guide employers through the process of safely resuming traditional work and operations now and in a post-pandemic environment. The partnership represents ISN’s continued commitment to the nearly 650 Hiring Clients and more than 75,000 contractors and suppliers that rely on the company’s management platform of data-driven products and services to help manage risk and strengthen relationships.

“While many essential businesses have remained open during the pandemic, there are others beginning the process of navigating how to reopen in this environment. By joining the NSC’s SAFER Task Force, we aim to contribute our industry knowledge and experience to help provide a playbook to these companies so they understand best practices and are ultimately able to apply these resources to thrive economically while operating safely,” said Joseph Eastin, Chief Executive Officer of ISN.

At the outset of the pandemic, ISN worked with customers to identify important areas of support and provided resources, protocols and questionnaires to assist in maintaining compliance with recommendations from the CDC and WHO. Additionally, Hiring Clients utilized ISN's proprietary communications tool to relay key messages to contractors while businesses maintained operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Just like our customers, we are determining how best to navigate the landscape and plan for the future” said Brian Callahan, President & COO of ISN and member of the Campbell Institute Steering Committee, an arm of the NSC. “Everything we build within ISNetworld is with the maximum benefit of our customers in mind. As we discuss the impacts of COVID-19 moving forward, and understand the unique circumstances faced by customers across the variety of industries we support, we continue to listen to ensure we are designing our products and services based on their needs during this time.”

Led by NSC, SAFER will issue recommendations and guidance for employers, including small and mid-size companies, across a variety of industries.

“With SAFER, we are bringing the best minds together to ensure Americans have the safest transition back to work possible,” said Lorraine M. Martin, President and CEO of the National Safety Council. “We are thrilled to have the partnership of ISN to help us on our mission to make workplaces safer.”
