On Saturday, March 26, 2022, ISN and its employees supported The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) by sponsoring, chairing and participating in the Big Climb Dallas. The ISN team, and other participants were challenged to climb sixty-five flights of stairs to the top of the Bank of America Tower, in downtown Dallas, to raise critical funds in support of blood cancer research and patient support.
During the climb, participants saw inspirational stories of survivors and the impact LLS is making in the fight against blood cancers. All climbers who reached the victory flight and completed the climb received finisher medals and were celebrated by fellow climbers and honored heroes.
“Being a part of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Big Climb Dallas is extremely important to our employees and to me personally. It gives us an opportunity to connect with the community and each other as well as a chance to support the families who are positively impacted by this organization. It was amazing to see ISN’s involvement throughout the event including an ISN employee’s daughter, who kicked off the event as the Big Climb’s Honored Hero”, said Matt Hayes, Big Climb Dallas Executive Committee Chair and ISN Team Lead.
In addition to the physical challenge, there was a fundraising challenge to participants to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission. ISN is proud to share that not only was the ISN team second in the corporate team fundraising race, but several ISN employees were in the top ten individual fundraisers group, one of whom raised over $16,000 for the cause. To-date, the event has raised over $400,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
