NSM2018

The National Safety Council (NSC) recognizes June as National Safety Month each year. National Safety Month helps workers, families and communities focus on reducing the leading causes of injuries and fatalities at work, on the road and at home.

Each week of National Safety Month, the NSC highlights a different health and safety topic in hopes of raising awareness to hazards and lessening their impact.

The first two weeks of June focused on emergency preparedness and wellness. The remaining weeks will focus on falls and driving.

In recognition of National Safety Month, ISN invites you to watch our latest video featuring two employees from Nucor Steel in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, sharing why their focus on safety is a priority for them and their families.

The National Safety Council has free resources available for your organization to raise safety awareness for your employees both on and off the job. Please join ISN, the National Safety Council and organizations across the United States in celebrating National Safety Month.
