Niska Gas Storage Partners, LLC, the largest independent owner and operator of natural gas in North America, has recently implemented ISNetworld as part of its ongoing efforts to promote the well-being and protection of its workers, the public and the environment.

It currently operates four main facilities: AECO Hub Services and Warwick in Alberta, Canada; Salt Plains in Oklahoma and Wild Goose in Northern California. Further, it owns, operates and contracts approximately 245 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of working gas storage capacity.

Contractor Management Solution
“After considering the range of options, it became clear that ISNetworld is the ideal solution for supplementing our in-house contractor management resources in both Canada and the United States,” says Kelly Baltimore, EH&S Manager at Niska Gas Storage. “We realize the importance of pre-qualifying our contractors, monitoring their information and complying with regulatory guidelines; and partnering with ISN makes perfect sense as we continually strive to maintain the highest industry standards,” he continues.

Over the years, Niska Gas Storage has made its mission to ensure that:

  • Compliance with health, safety and environmental rules and regulations comes first
  • It continually improves its health, safety and environmental procedures
  • Its employees have the necessary tools to conduct their work in a healthy, safe and environmentally productive manner

“We’re excited to help Niska Gas Storage streamline its contractor management processes and enhance safety at its work sites across the U.S. and Canada,” says Jenny Buckley, Western Canada Director at ISN. “This is also an opportunity for ISN to continue to expand its offerings in the midstream oil and gas sector.”
