Insurance policy

ISN offers a tool for contractors to grant permission to Insurance Agents or Brokers to assist their company with meeting their Hiring Clients’ insurance documentation requirements. By insurance agents or brokers registering online with ISNetworld here, they are able to:

  1. View Hiring Client insurance documentation requirements and submit insurance and Experience Modifier documentation directly in ISNetworld on the insured contractor’s behalf.
  2. Monitor their insured contractor’s policy expiration dates, outstanding items and submit renewal documentation proactively.

“One of the tools we love is the Agent/Broker Tool. It has saved us multiple hours of communication with our insurance agent, which makes the turnaround much faster for getting documents back to the customer,” said Gary Huffman, Riddleberger Brothers, Inc.

Thousands of insurance agents and brokers have registered to take advantage of this streamlined process. Insurance compliance on average is 22% higher when Agents/Brokers submit on behalf of their contractors. On average, Agents/Brokers also submit certificates of insurance 3.5 days prior to the expirations, while contractors submit only 0.5 days prior to their coverage expiration.

“Using the system has helped to drastically reduce the time it takes our agency to address any outstanding items,” said Brenda Sommers, BancorpSouth Insurance Services.
